I am still hard at it! Woke up this morning with an idea for a fringe at the bottom & radiating spokes from the top with shells. I'll have to check the size to make sure I can still fit it in--weighing a ton already. I can just see the postage meter clicking away!

It's looking good! I especially like the button cross and the radiating stones from the sides of the squares. I like the flames quilted into the diamonds--hadn't seen that before. Is your hand tired yet? Barbara

I love the embellishment! More is more...keeps the eye busy searching for surprises. I especially like the way the Hoffman fabric looks like real ribbons encased in little pocket windows.

Jen, thanks for noticing the Hoffman fabric. I keep worrying that there is not enough of it in the piece.

Barbara, taking a break today! Mom arrives and I had hoped to be finished but need One More Day. . .Wes saw it last night and his response was, "Holy S*it!" (& the lights were off!!) He said it reminded him of those Mexican sombreros with all the stitching. I guess that is a good thing!

I think the sombrero in the dark is an excellent look.

Holy Moly, what's going on HERE?!!! Beautiful excess. Deborah Boschert (of Deborah's Journal) told me to look over here. My eyes are HUGE. Such candy. I'm so excited.
