"Continue"

50 x 40 inches
cotton fabrics, lace, trims, charms, transfer
machine pieced and embroidered
Entry in the art gallery show: Perspectives: Any way you look at it
Dedicated to my son, William Hurter

Now it is time to wait & see if it is chosen for the show! It's been a whirlwind experience, to say the least.

The simple edge is a perfect finish, Debra. It's been so interesting to see this develop, partly because it's so unlike anything I would ever do, but fascinating to look at. I like it very much.

The side and bottom panels are perfect. I never would have thought of that. Best of luck to you!

Thank You Very Much! I learned a lot on this piece and I can see that I will be moving in a new direction in the future. It was actually quite good to have to work under the short deadline pressure. I couldn't vacillate about decisions but had to "go for it" quickly. The whole piece turned out to my liking!
