Photos of my transparencies for the Fall Madonna piece!!!!
I will do the transfers to fabric tomorrow. I want them to dry & I have tickets to the Astros game today!
Mucho exciting possibilities with the transfers. Why was I so resistent????? It does help to have the right kind of transparencies. .. .

wow, they look great! Are you going to use all of these images? I can't wait to see what you're up to. I also feel the deadline looming, but sometimes that's when I' do my best work.
I really like the top one. It has an etherial quality to it.
The top one is going to be the focal point of my piece. Allison sent it to me. I was thinking about some crazy quilting & using the other ones as the middle of the patches but 4 of them really look too old world and may need to go on another project. I need a few more that look more current. Back to the drawing boards. ..
Putting those images on fabric was not easy!
Love your transfers! Have you tried burnishing the transparencies on metallic painted fabric? I have a recent post on my blog with pix of this process - I learned it from Quilting Arts Magazine.
One of my students even did a Madonna.....
